We participated in the annual Summer Ice Cream Social at the Pine Grove site of the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society in Pontiac. Pine Grove is next door to Wisner Stadium on Cesar Chavez Blvd.  The event had to be held as a “drive-through” event because of the pandemic; people drove along a marked path that wound through all the various exhibits.  We talked with hundreds of people from the public and met some “movers and shakers” in the local historical scene.  The event was a big success for us! We hope to follow up on the contacts to further promote McMath-Hulbert as a major historical site in Oakland County.
