MHAS Member Captures Photo of Neowise Comet
MHAS member Ken McKenzie captured this image of the Neowise comet that’s now visible at dusk in the northwest sky just under the Big Dipper. Ken took this photo at Crawford Notch, New Hampshire on July 20 under ideal conditions of a clear sky with little light pollution. Ken used a 400 mm telephoto lens on a DSLR. The comet is easily seen with binoculars for the next week or more, so please get out and see it for yourself! Ken splits his time between Michigan and New Hampshire.
